Hello Mark. Access the blower wheel and see if it is stripped out on the motor shaft. If you can turn the wheel, and the motor does not turn, you will need to replace the blower wheel Y303836 in the unit. Hope this helps.

Hello Paul. Here are the instructions from the manufacture. Hope this helps. Remove the front panel. Remove the blower cover. Remove the retaining ring. Compress and remove the clamp around the hub of blower wheel. Work blower wheel back and forth to remove and install new blower wheel Y303836. Hope this helps.

Hello Floyd. If you are referring to the front cover Y312895 of the blower wheel, you will remove the screws around the cover and the screw at the bottom of the cover. Then pull the cover off the housing. Hope this helps.

Yes, it is possible your blower wheel is causing the noise. Part number Y303836 is supposed to have a flat side. Sometimes they will wear out in the center and the sloppy fit causes it to wobble making a noise. Sounds like you're on the right track. Thanks!
