For Whirlpool Range Burner Seal Assembly (Part Number: OEM18025791)

Hello Peter, These are sealed burners and they are removed from the cooktop by turning them about 1/3 od a turn counterclockwise. If they are too tight, you can remove them with a strap wrench if done carefully so as not to damage the burners.

Hello Christine. You need to check and make sure the igniter is plugged into the harness for that burner. If so, replace the switch on the unit.

Randall729 for Model Number MGR5770ADW

CONFUSED about getting the right part from you. Here's what I have. Maytag Model #MGR5770ADW gas range. The right front burner is leaking gas UNDER the rim of the burner head. I don't know the difference between part # mfg3412d024-26 or the mfg #3412d024-28. I don't know what the sealed burner consists of? would this part help with ignition of the burner? Have had help from NINJA in the past. Appreciate pointers and getting the part number straight so we can order.

Randall, The WP3412D024-26 3412D024-26 is the correct burner for the model number you supplied. This will be a complete, gray in color burner assembly, and will have everything you need to replace the original. The 3412D024-28 3412D024-28 is the same burner assembly in a different color (tan). Yes, depending on the issue the replacement burner could solve the ignition issue, and solve the gas leak as well.

Hello Earl. Make sure the burners are clean. It is normal for all to spark. If they continue, either the spark switch or the module will need to be replaced if the burners are good and clean.
