Gregory W. July 27, 2013 for Model Number WTW554OSQ My washer will not start at all. I have changed the timer and also the washer pump. There is power at the wall socket, could this be a faulty power cord problem?

Luangtom March 28, 2013 for Model Number Roper RAX4232PQO washer The washer started thru the low-level water wash-cycle and then quit. It started agitating and then quit. No noise, no sounds at all. Laundry just sits there in the tub of water. Is there a fuse somewhere on this model to check? If so, where is it located? The dial can be set on all of the various settings and nothing. Thanks.
1 Answer Hello Luangtom. You will want to test the lid switch WP8318084 on the unit. It should read closed with the lid closed and open with the lid open. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...

Bill May 23, 2012 for Model Number Maytag AED4475TQ0 How do you change from a 4 prong cord to a 3 prong cord?
1 Answer Hello Bill. WX09X10002 is the 3 wire cord for the unit. You will remove the old 4 wire cord from the dryer. Then when installing the 3 wire cord, the center wire needs to go on the center terminal of the terminal block. It does not matter which wire on the out side goes to which terminal on the terminal block, as long as they are not on the center and that each wire goes to a single post of the block. Both post are 120 volts. Read More...
