Neil November 13, 2017 for Model Number mh1150xmb-1 how do I replace the door on my microwave. some forum's said remove 3 screws and some said more. There are 8 screws on bottom panel covering bottom hinge of the door. Does the top vent just pop off to get to the top hinge screw?
1 Answer Neil, The air grill is held on by 3 screws at the top ledge that you will remove and then you will be able to see the door hinge. There should be 3 screws holding the door hinge in place Just remove the screws and lift the door off the lower hinge. Read More...

Jake R. March 08, 2012 for Model Number MH1150XMB-2 The left lower portion near the Hinge a portion of the door is cracked and a small piece has fallen off. Is it safe to use the microwave as it in operating mode? To replace, I understand, I need the DOOR ASSEMBLY (black), Part #AP3179414. How difficult is it to replace the NEW door assembly? Do I need any special tools. Does the entire unit has to be disconnected from its installation? Can a single person do the replacement? Please guide me so that I can purchase the Door Assembly. Thanks and regards, Jake R.
1 Answer Jake, it is not safe to use the microwave with part of the door broken. This will need to be replaced. To install the new door you will have to remove the vent grill at the top of the microwave above the door, open the door at a 90° angle and slowly lift from the bottom first to disengage from the lower hinge. Hope this information helps, thanks! Read More...
