Hello Bob, The model number you provided came up as invalid. I modified it a bit so it this isn't a GEQ9800PW1, please let us know by re-posting and we will do this thing right. Before beginning, please flip the breaker off so you don't get a shock. As a model number GEQ9800PW1, the bottom panel will be removed and when the two screws in the bottom of the upper panel is removed, the upper panel will pivot up and the clips will release. Please let us know if we mis-interpreted the model number, since I know that if we guessed wrong, the procedure is most likely different.

Stoll. You may need a small flat blade screw driver, to press on the connector lock on the harness connector in order to separate the wires from the switch harness, or you can also pry the connector apart, if needed. They can be very difficult at times, but you'll get it. Thanks

Hello Lee, The switch you received has the extra terminal for a light if the unit had been so equipped. Since it didn't, you hook the wires to the terminals which read open when the switch is open and reads closed when you actuate the switch (close it). The other terminal doesn't need anything on it for the unit to operate properly.

Hi Robert. I would use the digital capacitor Tester / Volt/ohm meter part # MA-DM1. Remove the back and check the blower housing thermal fuse that commonly opens under a vent restriction and the outside vent cap kept open with lint on the hinges. If this fuse part # WP3392519 is open, it will not run. Thank You.
