Hello Block9, if that would work the manufacturer would already have applied it at the time of manufacture. Drum rollers have oil-impregnated bushings, as the bushing wears it self lubes, any additional different lube could react chemically with the existing lube or it would collect dust, dirt, lint and have the opposite effect.

Drum rollers are not lubricated. They are a bushing-style setup and lubricating them would cause issues.
