My oven was taking forever to heat up, noticed that my broiler element also stopped working (no heat, no glow). I pulled the broiler element and tested it - i'm getting 16.9 ohms. Figuring it's not the element. What could the problem most likely be? Thanks! K
2 Answers Karen, it sounds like you have lost voltage going to the elements. When you turn the broil circuit on, you should be able to read 240 volts across the broil element, it you don't, you need to replace the control board, part number is [9759558] Read More...

Sheri L. May 20, 2014 for Model Number gr563lxsq whirlpool range I ordered part# ap3736962 which is the broil element. Apparently my oven has another element on the bottom of the oven. Do you know the part# for this element?
