TC, Possibly, A quick easy test, open the freezer door, can you hear the fan motor running, and /or feel the air from the fan being blown out towards you, if so, the fan motor is fine, as long as there's no frost or ice built up on the freezer back wall. You'll have to check the air diffuser 2157253 located in the back of the refrigerator compartment in the center of the ceiling. This allows the air to circulate into the refrigerator. If it is clogged with ice or broken, the refrigerator won't cool properly.

Hello Barry, The fan motor 482731 on the model you listed is an ac driven motor. Hooking it up backwards will have no ill effect on the motors' operation. You should make sure the fan blade hasn't been put on the motor shaft backwards as this will slow the air circulation. You also need to make sure the air control knob is properly attached at both ends. If the tab on either end is broken, the air control adjustment will be completely ineffective.

Jim, The evaporator fan motor will run constantly if the unit temp is not getting to where it should. Since the coils were clogged you will want to check the defrost thermostat as well to make sure that it is not reading open. It should have continuity when closed. If both the heater and the thermostat check ok then you will need to replace the timer.
