Mark, If the unit is not agitating and the tub will not spin if you hold it by hand then it sounds more likely that there is a gearcase issue.

Hello BlondieSL, the Gasket Sealer is a part WP285195, the same as used on automotive engine parts. Trying to make a gasket from gasket sheet stock may be problematic as no specs are given for thickness.

Hello Cody, I'm sorry but you cannot use transmission oil in a compressor. You will have to order the compressor 5304476642 since they come with the compressor oil already installed by the manufacturer.

Deanne, If there was just a little bit of oil that leaked out then it should be fine. You normally do not have to add oil event if a little leaked out.
