Scott May 13, 2016 for Model Number SRA248OM My refrigerator shuts off but when I turn the thermostat it kicks back on and runs for awhile then shuts off . what do I need to do to remedy this? thank you.
Jerry February 20, 2016 for Model Number MZD2766GES I have replaced the relay/overload assembly and the capacitor since I had a meltdown with the relay. Also replaced the wires from the relay. Turned on the refrigerator and waited, it appears that the compressor gets hot, is this normal?
1 Answer Hello Jerry, If the compressor is still not starting, it is locked and will have to be replaced. If it is starting and the unit is not cooling and the compressor is getting hot, this is an indication of a sealed system restriction and the filter/drier and cap tube will require attention. This will require a Freon authorized technician to diagnose and repair the issue. Read More...

Philip February 15, 2014 for Model Number mzd2766geq I replaced the compressor with part #ap4514661. The overload relay and run capacitor were moulded into the plug and part of the wiring harness. I cut the wires and put connectors on the wires, with the blue wire connected to the white overload and the orange connected to the relay the unit runs and gets cold. My question is concerning the white wire coming from the ptc relay. It is not connected. Should it be
1 Answer Hello Phillip. You connect the white wire to the other side of the relay. It is for the run capacitor. Read More...

Donna September 18, 2013 for Model Number MZD2766GES My current relay overload has 4 wires. two black one orange and a blue. Please let me know how to hook these up to the new type of relay. I thought one black to each #2 & #3 orange to #2 and blue to the overload. But this doesn't seem to be working so please help Thanks, Donna
1 Answer Hello Donna. Blue goes to the overload. Orange to number 2 on relay and white to number 3. As for the 2 black wires, based on the wiring diagram they should not be going to the compressor.. Read More...
John July 22, 2013 for Model Number Jcd2389geb series 19 My fridge compressor has the blue wire on bottom orange on top right and white on top left if I wire using the directions to replace overload/start device the jumper wire plugs into the top left but my orange wire is the one with the 3/16 terminal which would make it change to the top left not the top right is that right? The top left terminal is also marked with an n which usually means neutral which is white the new kit # is (AP4009660).
1 Answer Hello John, The small white device is the overload. The Blue wire will connect to this device. The orange wire will connect to the terminal labeled number 2 on the start relay, (small dark brown device). The white wire will connect to the number 3 terminal on the start relay. If you look closely at this configuration, the capacitor is actually jumped from the number 2 terminal to the number 3 terminal. You should realize that the wire colors are determined by the engineers. This means that white is not necessarily going to be neutral. In this case, the white wire is actually one lead of the run capacitor and the orange wire is the neutral. Read More...
Jackson March 16, 2013 for Model Number Model # JSD2789GES Ser# 10814536ZM Hi my Jennaire Has a Run Capacitor. The ,Kit 12002784 I bought has a wiring Diagram without a run capacitor. I need to know how to wire for the run capacitor??? please send a diagram with instructions. Thank you. Jack Bridgewater
1 Answer Jackson, The blue wire will connect to the Overload. The white wire coming off the capacitor will have the small jumper wire installed on it and go to the left side of the start relay. The orange wire coming off the run capacitor will go to the right side of the relay. We do not have pictorial instructions for this part. Read More...
