Sylvia April 18, 2012 for Model Number lsr9434pq0 The timer knob has a plastic piece inside and it broke. Do I need to replace just the plastic or the whole timer knob?
1 Answer Hello Sylvia, As long as you're sure that the broken part is a part of the knob WP8544943 and not the skirt, it will be all that needs to be replaced. The plastic protrusion is part of the timer knob. Read More...
Diana April 18, 2012 for Model Number LSR94349PQ0 On model lsr94349pq0 the timer knob has a plastic inside the knob that is to hold the knob when you inserted in to the timer, but my question is, can I just replace the plastic that goes inside the knob timer?
1 Answer Hello Diana. It sounds like the plastic part you are looking for is part of the timer WP8541942. It spreads the timer shaft to make it hold to the timer knob. If so, you will need to replace the timer. The plastic is not available separately. Hope this helps. Read More...

Tony August 15, 2011 for Model Number lsr7333pqo The knob on my washer comes off when I set the wash cycle and pull out to start. The back of the knob has a split it but doesnt appear to be cracked. The little tits on the side of the shaft the knob goes on appear to be worn a little but it looks they are alright. How can I keep the knob from coming off? Thanks Tony
1 Answer Hello Tony. If the knob has a split int it, you will need to replace the knob WP8544943. These work off pressure from the clip inside the timer shaft and the knob. If the knob is good, you will need to remove the control panel and see if the clip is pushed out of the back of the timer. If so, push the clip back into place, once the knob is positioned on the timer shaft, until the clip click and locks into place. Hope this helps. Read More...
Keith M. June 22, 2011 for Model Number LSN2000PW4 I was able to get all the knobs to pop right off except the one on the timer. How does it come off so that I can install a new timer?
1 Answer Hello Keith. You will need to hold the white or tan clip on the back of the timer, with the knob pushed in, and pull the knob off the timer. If you let the clip go, the knob will not come off. Hope this helps. Read More...
