Hello. Depending on the model number you might be able to repair the impeller. You could also purchase a motor and sump assembly and remove the old one and install the new assembly. We will need the model number to verify which part is correct. Thanks

John for Model Number Whirlpool Gold - Quite Partner III Mod: GU2300XTLQ3 - type: 577-0

Hi again, so I took everything apart inside the dishwasher and cleaned everything out (including the food-chopper) There was some debris (broken class / build-up of soap I'm guessing) which I cleaned out. I put everything back together and the machine is still whining pretty loudly. (it doesn't when it drains) It's almost like it's not pumping enough water or something.. like staling, but when I open the door there's water in there. The top rack dishes however still aren't getting cleaned properly.

Eric for Model Number Quiet Partner 3

Hello I have an issue with my dishes getting clean. I have removed and cleaned the chopper assembly. but when I found it the blade had popped off and the screen was totally clogged. I was able to repair the blade with some epoxy but the machine is still not getting the dishes clean. It fills and drains normaly but I suspected that the pump motor may be bad. I pulled it out and there is no rust or symptoms of a leak, but when I manually put power to the motor it does nothing at all. Any ideas/suggestions before I spring for a new motor? I just want to make sure I am buying the right part.

1 Answer

Hello Eric. It sounds like you have narrowed it down to the motor-pump assembly. This should fix you problem. Hope this helps.
