Designed for use on an range, this is a control panel assembly. It is often referred to as the touchpad. This part houses the selection buttons and display components for the unit. The purpose of the control panel is to control all of the functions of the oven. There are buttons for each function, such as bake, broil, light, and timer.When one or more of the range buttons do not work, it is possible that the control panel assembly has gone bad. Over time, the buttons may begin to wear and the user may wish to replace this part for cosmetic purposes. Hello George, You will need to check connections to the terminal block and the wall outlet first to ensure there are no loose connections. If none are located you should replace the control WP74008312.

Hello Jim, You will need to replace the relay board 74006612 if the harness shows no signs of damage. It has the low voltage transformer on it that powers the LED's on the display.

Hello Dad, This will either be a poor electrical connection on the ribbon cable or the control panel 5765M451-60 has failed. You can try cleaning the connections before replacing the panel by rubbing the end of the ribbon cable with a dry pencil eraser. You will need to only rub the traces toward the end of the ribbon cable to avoid damage to the ribbon cable traces. If this does not restore normal operation, the control panel will require replacement.

Winston, The fan that you are hearing is a cooling fan. The cooling fan comes on after the unit gets up to a certain temp and goes off likewise. Without the cooling fan the control board of the unit would be damaged.

Richard, If the you can set the broil but does not come on then you will want to test for 240 vac on the control board between Broil and L1 when set to broil. If there is 240 vac then the control board is defective and would need to be replaced. If when you push the buttons there is no response then the control panel would need to be replaced.
