Barbieq November 11, 2014 for Model Number SVE47500B My Jenn-air electric downdraft oven is 16 years old and has worked well. Recently, the display went blank and I replace the control board - display is now working; however, at 250 degrees the oven's internal fan comes on. And, at 350 degrees the oven shuts down, seems to be locking and unlocking, shows a code of F-- , and beeps constantly. The only way to get it to stop is either shutting off the breaker and/or opening the oven to cool it off. The oven temperature seems to be fine as the oven display temp matches an oven thermometer I place in the oven. Is the problem the power relay? If so, which part number?
1 Answer Barbie Q. Based on the problem description. This issue sounds like it would be caused by a faulty relay board. Read More...
Michael F. September 13, 2014 for Model Number SVD48600B The down draft motor does not work. I just bought a new one with fan (the fan on the old one would not come loose) and it too does not work. Is there a way I can verify that the relay board (PN 12001694) is passing voltage to the motor when I press the fan button? Is there a fuse on the relay board that may be blown? If I replace the relay board I want to be certain that it is indeed bad. I already had to replace the front panel at a substantial cost.
1 Answer Hello Michael, If voltage is getting to the fan relay board but not getting out of the board, the problem will be in the fan relay board 12001694. Otherwise, there could be a poor electrical connection at the ribbon cable or the membrane switch WP71002310 has failed. Read More...
Chad January 09, 2013 for Model Number svd48600w Replaced the c3 capacitor for the clock to work. Now the cooling fan and oven light stays on and the control pad does not work. The appliance worked fine except for the clock before changing the capacitor, any ideas would be great.
1 Answer Hello Chad. It sounds like either the ribbon cable or the memebrane is bad. Check and make sure the ribbon cable is seated good and if so, you will need to order and replace the membrane WP71002310 on the unit. Read More...
Michael September 09, 2012 for Model Number Sve47500w Jennairr oven won't heat past 100 degrees. Girlfriend said it gave f5code. Bake element had a hole burnt in it and has been replaced. Down draft board has a burnt spot also but the down draft blower works fine. Could that board cause the oven not to heat?
1 Answer Hello Michael. Yes, a bad relay board 12001694 can cause the oven not to heat properly. Test and see if there is voltage coming fromm the board to the element. If not, you have a bad board. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Tim April 17, 2012 for Model Number SVD48600 Jenn-Air 1. Oven was in use @ 350, broil came on and could not be turned off, F2 beeped, turned off breaker. Is this the 12001691 Board? 2. 1 Answer Hello Tim. No, based on the information you provided, it sounds like the board you are needing is W10757086. The above board is for the down draft. Hope this helps. Read More...
Mr. Lindsay September 22, 2011 for Model Number SVD48600P My range started making a strange buzzing noise and the display panel is blank. I turned of the circuit breaker to be safe any ideas? Thanks
1 Answer Hello Mr. Lindsay. You will need to test and see if there is power coming to the electronic control 5700M662-60. If so, and the control does not light up, you will need to replace the electronic control. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Bob August 01, 2011 for Model Number sve47500b Everything works on the stove except the downdraft fan. It will not work either manual or automatic. There is a relay board mounted on the back of the oven (rear of the unit) that is fried or burned out. I believe that this is that board (but the diagram dosen't show its location). Am I correct?
1 Answer Hi Bob. Yes, That relay board is mounted to the back of the unit. You will need to remove power. Unhook the blower assembly. Carefully pull out the unit and remove the back cover. It will be mountede on the lower Rt. side. There is a insulater shield that has to be put in place in between the relay board and the body to block heat. This relay board is part # 12001694. Thank you. Read More...
Frank June 09, 2011 for Model Number svd48600b I had an F7 error code. Based on the description, I replaced both the clock board and the membrane. Now, no F7 error and the oven and range are working. However, the downdraft fan cannot be turned off it runs at a medium speed all the time and the oven light will not turn off. Is replacing the downdraft board the next thing to try?
1 Answer Hello Frank! You will need to double check the touchpad ribbon installation in the control panel. If that is ok, you may have a bad main relay board W10757086 on the back of the range. Thanks! Read More...

Arthel A. April 10, 2011 for Model Number SVE47500W I had an FC error code on my oven. The wiring diagram said to check the J2 harness. If that is OK, then replace the power relay board. I have burners, just no oven. What should I do? Where is the J2 harness and PRB?
1 Answer Hello Arthel. The PRB is on the back of the unit. On the board you will see an 8 pin connector with J2 beside it. That is the connector to check. If good, you will need to replace the PRB 12001689. Hope this helps. Read More...
