Bobby July 29, 2019 for Model Number Kenmore Refrigerator 106.8676313 I ordered the relay for this refrigerator but forgot which terminals go where. White wire was permanently connected to the compressor. The relay has 1,2,3 prongs and a disabled 4. There are two blue wires and one red (from the thermocouple) wires that were originally connected to the relay. Where do the blue wires go? Thank you
1 Answer Hello Bobby, The red wire connects to the overload, (white component with only one terminal), The two blue wires connect to terminals 3 and 1, (these are the run capacitor terminals), and the white connects to terminal 2. Read More...

Augie N September 19, 2016 for Model Number Kenmore Refrigerator Model #106.8678281 Refrigerator stopped working...light is on. Disconnected power supply and tried plugging back in 2 hours later. No noise, no click, nothing. Have parts with numbers FSP 1114291 with 2 terminals. FSP945507 with 2 terminals (#2 and # 3) (1 and 4 have no terminals) and part # FSP 945586 with 2 posts with red wires. Can one/all of these be the problem? Can a bad compressor cause this shut down without any noises when plugged in? Can these parts be tested outside of the appliance?
1 Answer Augie, These listed parts will not be the issue with the unit. If there is nothing on in the unit other than the lights then you will want to look at the control panel in the refrigerator compartment and there will be a hole towards the back. This is the location of the defrost timer. There is a dial on the timer that you can put a flat blade screwdriver in and turn. It will only turn one direction, turn the defrost timer til it clicks. If the unit comes back on then the defrost timer will be the issue and will need to be changed. Read More...

Ali G. July 14, 2013 for Model Number ED22PQXDN04 Does this unit have a run capacitor? I can't find it. Thanks, Ali
Tford December 26, 2011 for Model Number ED22PRXRNR1 The bad relay only has two larger terminals (on top) but there is another wire (white) that connects to the recepticle on the compressor. Do I take that white wire and connect it to the new relay, or leave it connected as is?
1 Answer Hi. The wiring diagram shows the red wire from the overload connects to one side of the relay. The other side has a blue wire from the capacitor . The capacitor also has a red wire that piggybacks with the red wire from overload. You will need to connect the white wire to the side where the blue wire is on the relay. Relay part # WP2262181. Thank You. Read More...
