Chester March 11, 2023 for Model Number 66513693N410 Hi! Desperately need some help! I’m leaking from the lower left corner. I replaced the rubber door seal and lower “seal”. I watched a cycle without the outer door to see how it continued to leak. I’d take/attach a video if I could. It seems to be associated with the water jetting when the lower spray arm does its work. I checked the holes in the spray arm—no clogging. Metered the float switch—working fine. I’m stumped! Could it have anything to do with the diverted motor function? I have noticed that the top rack dishes are a bit dirtier after a cycle. Thanks in advance!
1 Answer Chester, make sure the dishwasher is level, that the spray arms are moving properly. Read More...
Mr Sill July 08, 2021 for Model Number KUDS35FXSS8 Hi my dishwasher is leaking from Bottom left corner. the leak is not terrible but its about a cup full for each load. I thought it was the lower door seal and I replaced it. however, it is still dripping. the spray arms appear to be intact. I am contemplating replacing the gasket. they appear to be intact as well. I am just not sure where it is dripping from. any ideas? thanks Mr Sill
1 Answer Mr Sill, With the lower door seal having already been replaced and the spray arms being good, this will most likely be an issue with the main door seal. Read More...
Bart December 22, 2020 for Model Number KUDC10FXSS5 Are the three plastic lips that look like clips supposed to clip under the metal? I tried to put them in once and the plastic cracked.
1 Answer Bart, the clips would not necessarily clip in as the screw holes of the lower door seal is used to secure it in place. The seal should set down as shown in the video shown in the following link. https://www.appliancepartspros.com/whirlpool-seal-door-bottom-wpw10497235-ap6022318.html#autoplay Read More...

Mcspicy May 07, 2020 for Model Number KUDE70FXSS3 I bought this lower door seal wpw10497245 to fix my leak. It was delivered, but it doesn’t have the rubber seal that is leaking. This part just holds that rubber seal. How do I get the rubber piece? Do y’all sell that?
1 Answer McSpicy, This lower door seal is showing as being the only seal for the unit. The manufacturer redesigned the part which would mean it may look different than the original. Read More...

Fredfear June 06, 2014 for Model Number KitchenAid KUDE60FXSS4 I noticed that my KitchenAid KUDE60FXSS4 dishwasher was missing a tab on the right side, thus the cause of a minor leak under the door. Therefore, I ordered a new bottom door seal and it is obvious that the one currently on the dishwasher is damaged. Although the dishwasher is under warranty, this was only a $4 part. Therefore, I felt that this was the way to go and not schedule a technician and miss a day of work. I was hoping that there would be instructions on how to install. Does the existing one just snap off with a putty knife or do I need to remove the back cover? Assistance would be greatly appreciated.
1 Answer Fredfear, To install this seal you will need to remove the inner door panel and remove the screws holding it in place. Once removed you can install the new one. Read More...
