Steph June 05, 2012 for Model Number WFW9600TW01 My washer keeps saying sud then F35. I checked the line to the pressure switch and blew on it. I also cleared the drain (there was a sock and some money in it). It didn't fix the problem. My washer wasn't empty when I blew on the hose. Would that make a difference or not? If not, do you think it's the pressure switch?
1 Answer Hello Steph. The washer needs to be empty before blowing through the hose. If it is empty and you blow through the hose and it still gives the error, you will need to replace the water level switch WPW10514214 in the unit. Read More...
Christine N. April 17, 2012 for Model Number mfw9600sq0 maytag I just bought this water level pressure switch because I have had the "FH" code blinking after only 2 or 3 minutes into the cycle..My question is after I installed this did I need to disconnect anything to reset or not? I am still getting the FH code?
1 Answer Hello Christine. You may have a bad water valve WP8182862 on the washer and it will need to be replaced. ¦ If there is no water in the unit: —Make sure that both valves at the water source(s) are turned on all the way. —Check for plugged or kinked inlet hoses or plugged screens in the inlet valves. —Verify inlet valve operation. ¦ If there is water in the unit: —Verify drain pump operation. —Verify that the pressure switch hose is in good condition and properly connected to tub and pressure switch. 1. Verify there is not a siphon problem. 2. Unplug washer or disconnect power. 3. Verify wire harness connections to inlet valves, pressure switch, drain pump, flow meter, and Central Control Unit (CCU). 4. Check all hoses for possible leaks. 5. Plug in washer or reconnect power 6. Verify pressure switch operation. 7. Verify flow meter operation by blowing air through the part and measuring the resistance. Hope this helps. Read More...

Loretta December 03, 2011 for Model Number GHW9150PW4 What would make my machine dump water out of the detergent drawer all over the place. I have cleaned the detergent drawer and underneath it. It dumps the water continuously thru the basement the whole time it's running.
1 Answer Loretta, Are you sure the leak is from the dispenser ? The water is injected into the dispenser for a limitted time during the wash cycle, if your wwasher leaks during the whole cycle, you have another issue. Since you've checked and clean the dispenser cups drawer and housing, you will need to remove the top of the washer(three screws across the back of the top panel and slide the top back, disconnect the flex hose from the dispenser and the front of the outer tub and check the hose for a clog or a blockage, and check the opening in the tub as well. For some reason the cardboard caps from bottles have a tendency to fall into the dispenser and get stuck. Thanks and Good Luck Read More...
