Kirk D. April 05, 2012 for Model Number ler7646eq2 When using the automatic side, the timer does not advance. When using the timed cycle side the timer advances. What is the problem?
1 Answer Hello Kirk, The ducting is the problem. It is either crimped or clogged. To prove it to yourself, put the unit on an automatic cycle and disconnect the duct. It will advance after 2 or 3 minutes. You see, the sensors continue to sense the same moisture over and over again since the moisture cannot escape the dryer. Have a great day! Read More...
Robert February 23, 2012 for Model Number ler7646eq2 Dryer works but the timer doesn't move. When I put it on for any amount of time the timer doesn't run down to turn off the dryer, it keeps running til I manually turn it off. Could the timer be bad?
1 Answer Robert, if this happens on all cycles selected you will need to replace the timer WP3976580. Thanks! Read More...

Don April 16, 2011 for Model Number LER7646EQO After removing a load of dried clothes. The dryer is dead won't start. I belive the on switch(resonably new) and the thermal fuse(tested closed) are OK. If the timer has failed, would that keep the dryer from running?
1 Answer Hello Don. You will need to check the door switch W10820036 and see if it is broke or bad. If so, it will prevent the dryer from running. Hope this helps. Read More...
