I took apart the complete assembly and notice that oil was leaking from the trasmission where the spiked shaft goes in. I am not sure if it leaks because the shaft was out in there. How do I determine excactly why the leak is happening?
1 Answer Hi Gino. The tubseal is part # WP25001090. Is it leaking at the heater assembly? This part # is 12002208. The bottom pulley is the clutch assembly # is 12002211. Where the leak is at , you will need to buy a whole assy. part to help youself. Thank you. Read More...
Bill S. May 14, 2011 for Model Number FAV6800AWQ There is water leaking. I pulled the front cover and can see water leaking from above the tub pulley. The washer spins ok and works fine but developed a water leak about a week ago. Other than the TUB SEAL Part Number: AP4035323 Do I need any bearing type parts, clutch assembly stuff or anything? I really do not want to tear it down until I have parts I will need on hand.
