John, The resistance of the fill valve solenoid should be between 695 and 995 ohms of resistance and if you got 1200 then it is out of range and would need to be replaced.

Is this problem likely the water inlet valve? Wash cycle works fine with water filling to correct level. When the rinse cycle starts, most of the time now little to no water comes in. I open the door and verify the float valve is down all the way and moves freely. If I cancel and just start the rinse cycle, it works fine as long as I wait awhile for it to cool down. Can't tell if its an intermittent valve or control panel heat issue. What voltage measurements would I expect to get if I monitor the valve?

Hello David, The first thing you should do is check that nothing has fallen out of the rack and got under the float switch. If an item holds this float up, it will never energize the water valve. This unit has a pressure switch so you will need to verify that the hose to the pressure switch is not clogged with food particles and/or debris. If it is clear, you will need to verify the water to the unit has not been inadvertently turned off under the sink. You should also test the pressure switch 3380871 for being closed electrically with no pressure applied to it. If these all test good, you will need to replace the water valve W10844024.

Lonny, You will want to check for clogged or broken spray arms that are causing the water to spray at a different angle and can cause the unit to push water out of the door.

Hello Shorty, If the water valve is getting power and no water is flowing into unit then the water valve is defective and needs to be replaced. Also check the float switch to make sure that it is good. Do a continuity test on it. When depressed it should have continuity. When up should not.

Hello Matt. Check and make sure the water pressure coming to the unit is not over 110 PSI. If the pressure is good, and the overflow is over flowing, you need to check and see if any clogs or kinks are present. If not, replace the water valve W10844024 on the unit.
