Brett March 23, 2013 for Model Number WTW5600XW0 Whirlpool Cabrio washer purchased March 2011 The hot water will not stop filling up the tub. The only way is to shut off at water supply in wall. I have looked at the troubleshooting guide and it suggests that the valve is stuck and needs to be replaced. However, there are 2 different valves showing and I'm not sure which one to choose. Also, I am not an experienced maintenance person and I'm wondering if this is a relatively easy repair job. Thanks !

Steve1147 June 20, 2012 for Model Number mvwx600xwo Hello! My Maytag bravos suddenly won't start-up. All lights, etc. are on, push start and door locks, then it just sits in 'sensing', never lets water in or anything, eventually the clock runs down with nothing happenning, it does make a few double ticking noises at first. 1 Answer Hello Steve1147. Test and see if there is power coming to the valve assembly W11158805. If so, and no water is coming in, you will need to replace the valve assembly. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
