Matt September 06, 2018 for Model Number PAVT234AWW Cold water will barely run. I replaced the valve and still the same issue. The hose is not blocked. Could this be the water temp switch?
1 Answer Matt, Disconnect that water line and hold it into the tub. Then turn on your water and see how much pressure you got. If all checks good then your water inlet flume would be your issue.WP21001760 or the hoses connecting it. Read More...
Amy January 15, 2018 for Model Number MAV208DAWW I have a maytag washer that continues to fill with water and will not stop. I have unplugged the machine and it still continues to fill. I think that I need to replace the water inlet valve. If I order this part and it does not fix the problem can I return the part?
1 Answer Amy, With the water continuing to fill with the unit unplugged will be a faulty water valve. The water valve part number will be WP21001932. Read More...

Nicole April 27, 2015 for Model Number MAV208DAWW Hi! I ordered the water valve #201001932 & it does not fit this model # machine. The hose connection is too large on the part & the hose on the machine ( I bought it new/only owner), is way too small to fit on the new part. Is there an alternative part # or another part I can try? Thank you!!
1 Answer Nicole, the water inlet valve, WP21001932, is the original inlet valve used on model MAV208DAWW and should fit as the current part. I tried locating your order in our system and was not able to locate an order using the email address provided. I would suggest contacting the company you purchased the inlet valve from to ensure that the valve purchased and shipped is the correct part. Thanks. Read More...

Irene July 02, 2014 for Model Number MAV2757AWW My maytag ensignia Model# mav2757aww is leaking water. After the tub fills up the water continues to drip. At the end of the spin cycle the clothes right under where the water comes out is soaked. Should I assume it's the inlet valve not shutting off properly or could it be something else. Thank you for your help.
Eric February 12, 2014 for Model Number Maytag Model PAV3240AWW Cold Water would not pass through Valve on Machine. So we carefully replaced the Value of which I received from you today (very quickly I may add) and it did not correct the problem. Hot Water is no problem. The cold/cold did work for a minute or two and then from that point forward it is just making a "buzzing" noise. Please advice on what the next step could be. Thanks, Eric
1 Answer Hello Eric. If there is power coming to the cold water valve, and you are getting no water, you will need to replace the valve assembly. Read More...
Maytag101 August 15, 2013 for Model Number PAV5157AWW I have a Maytag PAV5157AWW, it will not shut off when it reaches the wash level it is set at, it will over flow onto the floor. Now if you push the main button, it will stop filling, but soon you will see water on the floor, now that is only if the tub has about 4-6 inches of water in it. If there is less than that amount in tub no water will be on floor.. I am trying to figure out if it might be the Water Valve or the Water Level Switch. Please help!!
1 Answer Hello Mr. 101, Start the machine so it is filling. Unplug the machine. If the water continues to run, the water inlet valve WP21001932 has failed. If it stops filling, the problem is electrical in the machine, most likely the pressure switch WP21001554 if the serial number starts with 19 or lower OR 21001882 if the serial number begins with 20 or higher.
