Hello Frank, The components in the circuit are the timer, the high limit thermostat, the thermal cutout, the operating thermostat, the thermal fuse, the gas coils, the ignitor, the flame sensor, and the wiring harness. Each of these should be tested to determine the cause of the circuits' failure. The most common of these to fail is the ignitor. If it glows red or orange, it is breaking down and not pulling enough current to open the gas valve. Ikt should glow yellow to white hot.

Quasi, You will want to make sure that when the conversion was made that the blocking pin for natural gas. This should correct the issue.

Quasi Moto, You will want to test the flame sensor to make sure that is closed for resistance. This could be a bad flame sensor that is not allowing the unit to turn the gas on to start the flame.
