Hello Kevin. Check and see if the pump is leaking. If so, replace it. If not, you need to water the unit fill, with the front panel off, and look for the water leak in the unit to determine which part is bad on the unit.

Hello Dearhunter. If the screws are removed, you may need to use a straight blade screwdriver and pry the pump off the motor shaft. If it is rusted to the shaft, the pump can become very tight. Once removed, you will need to sand the shaft down, so the new pump 27001233 goes on easy. Hope this helps.

Hi Jay. Sorry as if we were not clear enough on the last transaction, but you really need to pry hard. Even if you break it, if you have the new one, it dont matter. If you are concerned @ possibility of not needing to purchase a pump, then visually inspect the insides and make sure it is OK. I know you need to replace the belt. What is the exact model # for your unit? Thank you.

Hi Joe. The best thing to do is to use a black felt marker to mark the pump as it is still in place with the motor turned upside down. The motor shaft will rust so bad as you will literally need to pry (even bust), the plastic pump off the shaft. You will be gratefull to yourself by cleaning the motor shaft off and then using some grease on the shaft for future replacements. The pump is part # 27001233. Thank you.
