Hi John. If you verify the noise at the unit water valve it is part # 285805. At the house water supply there is a anti-hammer device that can be installed on each supply valve. You will need to contact a local qualified plumber from your yellow pages. Thank You.

Hello Pete. Disconnect the power to the unit. Remove the two screws in the back corners of the control panel securing the control panel. Pull the control panel forward and flip it backwards. Next unplug the lid switch and remove the two brass colored clips securing the cabinet to the back wall using a flat blade screwdriver to pry them out. Pull on the front of the cabinet and slide the cabinet off the frame of the washer. You can now access and replace the water valve 285805. Reinstall in reverse order. Hope this helps.
