Roy April 26, 2016 The casing on my well just recently failed and a considerable amount of sand entered my water system. The cold water supply on the washing machine is completely inoperative; however, the hot water supply works fine. Should the water supply valve be replaced or can it be cleaned for the cold water to operate? Thanks!

If it asks for a combination of water the cold water works but hot does not. I can wash on the cold/cold setting. I think it needs a water inlet valave.
