Jim September 08, 2016 for Model Number 96573220 Kenmore 70 series Dryer I'm trying to find a compatible heating element for this dryer? Can you help?
Galejumper August 18, 2016 for Model Number WED5100VQ1 There appears to be no break in the heating element still no heat I have replaced the thermostat.
1 Answer Hello Galejumper. Check and make sure you have 240 volts coming to the dryer. Check and make sure the unit is not set to Air Fluff. Also check the heater and thermostats and see if they are good. You can test these with a multi-meter MA-DM1. They should read closed for continuity. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...

Springchiknot August 10, 2016 for Model Number Whirpool Model #LER5636EQ3 My dryer has no heat. I'd like to attempt to replace the Heating Element myself!!!! Gonna get a couple ladies to give me support while I do this. Ought to be fun but your video makes it look sooooo simple. My questioni is: If once I replace the element, and it still does not heat when on, what would be the next step. p.s.- your video is awsome and the only reason I am thinking about doing this myself.
1 Answer Hello Springchiknot. If the element does not fix it, then you will need to check the thermal cut out and thermostats. Also make sure your voltage is correct. Read More...

1 Answer Hello Jeff. You will need to take the blower housing apart and clean the inside duct of the dryer. It sounds like it is clogged on the inside of the unit. Read More...
Jeff July 27, 2016 Dryer seems to be heating but clothes not drying. the heating element glows orange for a time and then not is this normal or is the element going bad?
1 Answer Hello Jeff. Yes, this is normal. It sounds like the venting system is clogged or kinked. You will need to check the vent and clean it out. Be sure and clean the vent pipe and the dryer air duct assembly. If the air flow is not good, the unit will retain moist air causing the clothes not to dry. Try running the unit with the vent unhooked from the back of the dryer and see if the dryer works properly. Read More...
