Hello Stefanie. There is a red wire with a large spade on it, it goes to the heater. Then the high limit WP3977767 hooks to the other terminal to the heater. The jumper wire goes from the high limit to the thermal cut-off 279816. The the last wire hooks to the other terminal of the thermal cut-off. Hope this helps.

Hello David! If you have a short vent (around 5') a vacuum cleaner with a hose attachment will work fine. For a longer duct or one that is not accessible you it is better off to contact a proffesional. Thanks.

Hello Edna. These are not hard to do. Disconnect the power to the dryer. Remove the back panel of the dryer to access the heater. It is located in the bottom right hand corner and attached to the heater box. You will need to remove the wires going to the heater, then remove the screws holding the heater to the heater box. Pull out on the bottom of the heater and down to remove the heater. Reinstall in reverse order. Hope this helps.

Hello Darrin. You will need to check for loose connections on the heater 279838 and thermal fuses 279816. If all the connections are good, test the heater and thermal fuses for continuity, they should read closed. If they are open, replace that part. Also chek the heater and make sure the coils are good and not broken, and making contact sometimes. If they test good, you will need to trace voltage and see where you are loosing it at. You can perform these test with a multi-meter MA-DM1. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
