My dishwasher (model # pdw8200j10bb) control panel was not lighting up and not working Scott C. • Bay Shore , NY • June 01, 2015
I found out that the door interlock switch was the usual culprit to my dishwasher not working properly and that replacing it will probably fix the problem. I ordered the part from AppliancePartsPros and the part was delivered the next day. I replaced the part in less than 30 minutes and the dishwasher was as good as new. I am impressed with the information provided on your website and that you were able to ship out on the day I ordered it. Your price is great and the part I received was in...

The internal water heater in my dishwasher wasn't working Dave C. • Panton , VT • November 23, 2014
After ordering a new heater and before disassembling the dishwasher to determine that it was in fact defective I found it was ok. After downloading the repair manual I saw that either the control assembly or the control pad on the door had to be at fault. I ordered both units from you and replaced the control assembly first and found that to be the fix.
My first clue to the no heat problem was seeing small amounts of white film on the clean plates. I then noted the fine screen filter was...

14 year old kitchenaid dishwasher wasn't filling with water (only partially) had to add water during cycles William S. • Annapolis , MD • March 27, 2017
Ordered new inlet water valve and float switch kit. After repairs it now works fine. However the water inlet valve outlet end for fill hose (not water source) and wire connections (supposedly for this unit) were oriented 180 degrees opposite. I had to gently remove the blue plastic valve off the metal support bracket and turn it around and press back in place. Fortunately it appears it was designed for either orientation. Also the solenoid had to be unclipped and also rotated. Again it was...
