We have a 3/4 HP GE disposal. It was installed when we built the house approximately ten years ago. It has been fantastic except for one thing. Every six months or so it would start leaking. Remove screws from the upper control panel and lay them on top of the washer. Remove corner screws from the front center panel with door. And drop down 4 Inches, to gain access to the hose, remove the clamp from the upper dispenser and remove the rubber hose from the drum, and replace it with a new hose. Reassembled.
