This water level pressure switch senses air pressure from the tub and signals the control to stop filling at the correct level. Replacing a weak or failed switch restores proper filling, helps prevent over/underfilling, and allows cycles to advance.
The error code indicated the washer wasn't getting any water, although the basket was filling to an unusually high level. After checking the inlet hoses and their connections but without opening the top cover to see the actual water level pressure switch, I went ahead and ordered the part. Tilted washer backward, supported with jack stands, removed 2 screws holding toe panel. There's a 4" PVC cap, which is actually the drain filter, unscrewed it and removed 2 years worth of garbage. Installed a new seal on drain filter, installed new leveling feet and closed everything back up. works like new..... Read more
This part is a replacement control board that is intended for use with washing machines. This particular control board controls the washing machine's steam system.
