Unplug the fridge and slide it out from the wall. Remove the lower back cover. CLEAN EVERYTHING. We used compressed air, a vacuum, and a damp rag. The compressor was really hot because the unit was still limping along, so I set up a vortex fan to cool everything down. Replaced the gasket on the freezer. The hardest part was getting the gasket to return back to its original shape. Used a blow dryer for like half an hour over it and left it on the floor until it was ready. I probably should have just let it take a bath in warm water then dried it off.
