The is is a dishwasher control board. This part is tasked with controlling all of the internal parts of the dishwasher. It regulates the wash cycle, drying cycle, and other parts of a typical washing cycle. This part has many internal components and can become damaged over time or through use. I did a little research on the internet. I check to make sure it was getting power with Ohm meter. I took the front panel off to see what I could find. I found 2 dead roaches in the control board box and there was some brown stuff on the control board. I checked the price to replace the part online and local. I bought the part from AppliancePartsPros.com. Removed water inlet hose. Removed water outlet hose. Removed water inlet valve which was held on with one screw. Replaced the water inlet value.
