Used the vinyl touch up paint on the tops of posts and slid vinyl tips over 130 posts. The paint acts as an adhesive to keep the tips secure. Read more

Kick plate was easy; screw holes in the wrong place, but used double-sided tape instead and worked great. Didn't need the extra screws ordered; it came with them. The roller spindles should be sent with a packet of grease. When replaced, the door was even louder than previous. Used candle wax on the spindles and it's quiet as can be now. Read more

Ordered dishwasher rack tine tips and bottle of vinyl touch up paint. I applied the paint to each tine and then placed the tips on the tines. I waited a few hours before using my dishwasher to allow the paint to dry and allow the tips to stick to the tines. Read more

Replaced float switch and also replaced intake valve. Worked like a charm and the process was as easy as the YouTube video I followed made it seem. Read more

Replaced the heating element as shown in the video. Repaired a bad connector on the wire leading to the heating element. The clean light still flashed 3 times. Determined that the thermal fuse also needed to be replaced. Replaced the thermal fuse as shown in the video. The clean light now flashed 7 times which I discovered meant that the control panel needed to be reset. I then reset the control panel by pressing the buttons: normal, heated dry, normal, heated dry. Removed bottom cover, located leak at float switch, removed and replaced float switch kit. The toughest part of the repair was removing the Float & Retainer Assembly (in the interior of the machine tank) which broke when I pushed it back and pulled it straight up as suggested in the service manual. Replaced spray arms and tube. Found all had debris in them and prohibited water pressure from reaching items. After replacement everything comes out sparkling. Don't understand how the spray arms getting plugged. Almost like waste water is recycled.
