Connects washer outer tub to drain pump, channeling water out during drain cycle. Replace if cracked, leaking, deteriorated, or damaged by pests.
Simply open the top of the washer by inserting a putty knife (watch YouTube ) and then the front panel by removing two bottom philips head screws on the front. The whole front panel comes right off. Using pliers the spring clams holding each hose, they come off and each hose is replaced. The drain one was only leaking but since it has open I changed both and even the drive belt. Whole job less than 1 hour. BTW parts arrived next day! Read more

Replaces a cracked, broken, or missing washer drum baffle. Mounts inside the drum to lift and tumble clothes during the wash cycle. Easy installation.
Had to bend down the retaining tabs (on the drum) a little to allow the paddle to slide on. Placed the paddle with the tabs in all of the grooved slots, pushing down with one hand, I used my palm to firmly push/tap it into its locked position. I purchased new vane screws (Part #: AP2106572 "131302800") and used a Phillips driver to screw them in (one each paddle). It's that simple! Read more

Secures the washer's inner basket to the drive hub, keeping the tub centered and stable during spin. Replace if cracked, corroded, or bolts are damaged.
The seal at the bottom of the tub had started to fail. On large loads water would leak so I ordered a new one rubber seal. Getting the trunnion off the transmission shaft was hard as it was calcified and corroded. I used a wire brush to get some of it off and then used a lot of WD-40. The bolt holding the trunnion plate on sheared off when I tried to remove it on one side and the other came out ok (the bolt hole through the trunnion is not threaded so it should slide out once the plate is off... After doing online research about this particular error code I found www.appliancepartspros.com. On the site I searched my washing machine's model number and I found the correct part (in my case, it was the main control board) at a discounted price. Carries wastewater from your washer's drain pump to the standpipe or sink. Replace if cracked, kinked, clogged, or leaking to restore proper drainage.
Our washing machine door boot seal was getting moldy and causing odor problems. Cleaning tablets and bleach weren't helping so it was time to be replaced. While I had the top and front off I changed all the hoses that could be collecting soap scum and mold, all other wetted parts were removed and washed. The video on the door boot seal, and inlet valve assembly were extremely helpful in understanding how these parts are removed and reassembled. Although the door boot seal is the most visible... Gas smell during or after cycles? Dryer won't heat? Replace the gas valve assembly to restore proper gas flow and safe operation. Advanced repair.
Frigidaire Gallery gas dryer from maybe 15 years ago. Based on the fact the the smell was only in the dryer, I concluded it must be the gas valve failing to completely seal when closed. After looking at the insides again, I suppose it is possible that it was a connection near the burner, but that stuff had remained untouched for 10 years so I still think I made a good assumption. I got a new ignitor as well since I was in there, and compared to the valve, it was cheap! I thought I could get in... Read more
