Water pooling in your dishwasher after cycles? A faulty drain check valve allows backflow. This part prevents water backup and ensures proper drainage.
Since my Samsung Dishwasher would not drain and had a flashing quick light, I removed the racks and both spray wands. Which allowed me to remove the lower screen assembly. This revealed a worn and broken check valve and broken grinder blade. I cleaned the inside of the dishwasher and removed the unit from under the counter. I removed and cleaned the brake assembly ( large transparent plastic section on left side of the dishwasher). I cleaned this for preventive maintenance by taking the float... Read more
Dishwasher won't drain or shows 5E error? This drain pump removes standing water. Access from underneath, about 1-2 hours to replace. Video available.
Fix OE or LE error codes and low water level issues with a new water inlet valve. Moderately difficult repair requires basic tools and skills.
Initially we discovered the LE code was due to water in the base due to the over flow. Of course my warranty was up and 1 month later the DW finally stopped with this error. We pulled out the DW and soaked up the water in the sensor on the right side base where it collects water. This got rid of the LE error code. The LE error kept making the drain go constantly so we had to turn off the power in order to stop the draining. The drain activity would go constantly even after opening the door... Read more

Dishwasher showing LC error or flashing Heavy/Smart Auto lights? The leak sensor detects moisture to prevent water damage. DIY repair in 20-45 minutes.
Purchased a new sensor and drain hose. Had it in 2 days. Took me a little over an hour to diagnose what I thought was problem, 20 minutes searching online for parts and 1 - 1/2 hours to fix (but I am 47 yr old woman who has never worked on a dishwasher before and not handy at plumbing). Working now - without a BIG repair bill and down time waiting for parts to be ordered by repairman. Read more

Replace your dishwasher's filter mesh screen when damaged or torn to prevent debris from reaching the pump. Traps food particles during wash cycles.

We were able to restore our dishwasher to working condition the next day as the shipping was extremely quick. Read more
Seals the water inlet connection to prevent leaks during fill cycles. Replace if you notice water pooling or dripping. Confirm fit with your model number.
After researching the Internet, I thought the drainage hoses were my problem. First I changed both drainage hoses. That didn’t solve the problem. I had to look for another area that was causing water to drip into the pan. I found water leaking from behind the brake assembly. Since I didn’t get an oE error code, I eliminated the brake assembly as causing my problem. I ordered a brake gasket and cover. Once I got it properly installed, problem solved! Read more

Research indicated that it may be a moisture sensor failure or a leak. It ended up being a leak from the oil seal on the motor shaft. A small piece of plastic made it's way into the system. The hot water softened it enough that it wrapped around the motor shaft, re-hardened, then tore into the shaft seal. I fixed it by replacing the shaft seal, moisture sensor (corrodes when it gets wet), and replaced the sump seal since I had it disassembled. Read more
