I unplugged the fridge and took all the food and shelving out of the freezer and then proceeded to take off the bottom sliding drawer rack on both sides off (4 Phillips head screws). Then took off the light bulb cover and then the light bulb. Then the back wall that covers the coils and tubes that the refrigerant runs through ( 2 screws with hex head). It was after 11:00 at night a few nights ago, I couldn't sleep listening to the whining of the fan in the freezer, it was running and making noise sounding like waaoooww, waaaoww. I simply removed the control panel by pulling up and out on the bottom edge, the edge is only about 1/8 inch thick, so don't reach in to far. After disconnecting power to the fridge, I first removed the ice maker/water dispenser/fridge control faceplate. This easily popped out using a flat head screw driver. Then disconnected the 3 wire harness connections to the control board. I next removed the plastic dispenser housing shield. There's only 4 screws that hold this on. 1.) Located where the water leak was coming from in the refrigerator. 2.) Unplugged the refrigerator. 3.) Shut off the water supply to the refrigerator. 4.) Unscrewed the back cardboard panel. 5.)
