I located the part, so I ordered it and received it within 4 days, which is also an advantage of using Appliance Parts Pros. Upon arrival of the part, I had to grind off one end of the river that acts as a hub for the wheel to turn on. I am not a plumber, but very good with anything mechanical. I uninstalled the broken icemaker, swapped the wiring and ice bar from the old icemaker to the new one, and installed the new icemaker all in 12 minutes and 37 seconds from start to finish, which includes pulling out the two freezer baskets and pulling off the freezer door. Removed all the food from the freezer and most from the fridge before starting. Tipped fridge back until I could place a 2 x 4 a couple of inches behind the front rollers. With the front of the fridge now approximately 3 to 4" off the ground you can remove the adjusting bolt and the roller assembly can be pulled out of the brackets. Slide out of the notches where that hold it into the bracket. Same to install. Read more
