This crisper cover support mounts to the refrigerator liner and holds the crisper cover frame/glass level. Replacing a broken or missing support restores a stable shelf surface and helps the crisper drawers slide and close properly.
I had to cut down the length of the bar using a Dremel so that it would fit into the channels, it was originally too wide to fit into the fridge. One thing to note, only cut it as wide as the actual fridge; you can get it into the plastic shelf structure by sliding it too much into one side, and then guiding it into the other side. Read more

This defrost timer cam replaces the plastic cam on a mechanical defrost timer. It restores the timer's changeover between cooling and defrost, helping prevent frost buildup on the evaporator and temperature swings inside the refrigerator.
I replaced the Thermostat and Defrost Timer. It was a fairly easy repair other than removing the old Defrost Timer. The way the manufacturer, in this case, Amana, mounts that unit with "clips" is just poor design and engineering. It is virtually impossible to get the timer out without damaging the mounts. I had to do some creative rework to mount the new timer. After 2 days, the fridge appears to be working properly with these new parts. The new parts were shipped Very Fast...APP is... Read more

This evaporator drip pan—also called the drain pan or evaporating tray—collects defrost water from the freezer and allows it to evaporate safely. Replacing a cracked or warped pan helps stop puddles and odors under your refrigerator.
Evaporator pan was cracked and needed replaced. It took longer to pull the fridge away from the wall than to actually replace the pan. Pulled the old one out and slid the new one in place. Replaced the cover on the back and was finished. Read more
This thimble is a small insert used in the freezer compartment. It reinforces a mounting hole, prevents liner wear, and helps keep attached hardware stable and properly aligned for smooth, quiet operation.
Took off the freezer door, took off the top hinge on the refrigerator door, replaced the handle, re-installed the top hinge and the freezer door. This is a two person job - one to remove the top hinge and replace the handle, while a second person holds the refrigerator door in place. Replacing the handle was easy. The most irritating part was figuring out what parts to order. The drawing of the refrigerator door (Drawing # 4) used to figure out what parts to order was not clear. I paid $8... Read more
This small shim installs on the refrigerator's center hinge pin to set door height and reduce excess play. Replacing a worn spacer can help restore smooth door movement and a reliable gasket seal. What it does:
This is a replacement screw designed to work with a wide range of household appliances. It is used for many purposes in these appliances, from holding body panels together to securing electronics into control boards. However, screws are subject to damage through corrosion, impact, and improper installation/removal. In most cases, the primary damage to this screw is through corrosion – it may become rusted or corroded in place, depending on the appliance and the maintenance provided during its lifespan. The screw may also be stripped or rounded due to improper removal or installation. If the screw is damaged, lost, or corroded in place, it will need to be replaced. In most cases, removal will require nothing more than a Phillips head screwdriver or the appropriately sized socket with a ratchet. However, if the screw is damaged, it may require a tap set to remove it from its mounting location. Note that this is a genuine OEM replacement screw made from durable, high-quality metal, and is sold individually. It fits Whirlpool, Maytag, Roper, Estate, Amana, Crosley, and Thermador appliances. It is used in over 150 machines, ranging from washers and dryers to air conditioners.
