Called appliance pros and found replacement part and ordered it. Took out the old one by removing the plastic tabs with screw driver and pliers. They were stubborn in coming out. After reviewing various posts on the internet, I tested the high heat temperature limiter and determined it was faulty due to lint buildup. So it broke off and left broken plastic bosses with screw points sticking out of the drum. The screw points would have damaged anything being dried. I took standard 5/16 fuel hose and tie strapped 1/2" pieces of the hose over the broken bosses. The hose pieces covered the screw points and allowed the dryer to be used.
