Secures the lint duct assembly inside your dryer to prevent rattling and keep items from reaching the blower wheel. Replace if bent, broken, or missing.
There's a metal piece that the lint filter pushes down into that got bent a bit I guess and ended up skewering the lint filter. I got it loose but couldn't get the metal piece to stay where it was supposed to be to operate without catching the lint filter. These were not expensive parts so ordered both and installed both. Very easy to remove back panel and replace with the new parts, making sure the OEM numbers were the same. Put back panel on, plugged back in and it fired right up - time will tell if these were the culprits. Not much left electronics wise on... Read more

Used the Wpl. Vent Kit, 4-way. This is not a quick, easy job. You have to disassemble the dryer, removing the entire front, door, drum, and control panel. Take your time and take pictures as you go so you can get it all back together again after installing the conversion kit. It will take you at least an hour, and you need room to work. Also, remember that after converting the dryer over to left or right vent, you now have a wider dryer with the ducting sticking out the side. (4") Make sure it... Read more
