Replace the drain pump after watching a video demonstrating the process. The washing machine had run properly and emptied, so I was surprised how much water remained in the pipe after disconnecting the old pump. Plan on having 2-3 large towels underneath before removing it. The most difficult part (and most irritating) was replacing the intake and outtake hoses with the existing spring clamps. With more difficulty and frustration than expected but it works fine now. Things learned: 1. Order only 3 replacement pins. One comes with the shocks that you can't be sure you see in the picture. 2. A circuit board in a plastic box mounted to the floor, left rear, must be removed by two screws to be able to get pliers onto the head of the pin more easily. This helps installation too. 3. Replaced pump. All components are accessible from the front of the machine. You have to remove two screws in the back that hold on the top cover, then slide the cover back. This will allow access to the screws that hold on the control panel. Removed old bellow following procedures found on relevant Youtube videos. Reinstalling however was more of a challenge. Getting the rear seal of the new bellow on the washer housing was not as easy as the videos indicated. The key to that process is being sure the seal is well lubricated which is not quite apparent from the videos but is essential success.
