I replaced all sensors because the dryer got to not drying as well. This didn't help. I checked the dryer duct it was clean and open. Traced problem back to the main cpu assembly. Replace it and now the dryer is like new again drying clothes on the first round. Read more
After research, I found that the control panel had a burn on the yellow electrical connection...Online, I found pics of the same burn on the same yellow terminal....must be a weakness in some component at that spot....but it had lasted 7 years. I watched install video online and took pictures with my phone as I disassembled. The part came from appliancepro sooner than I expected. The install was easy and quick. Made for most Admiral, Crosley, Norge, and Magic Chef dryers. Kit includes 2 drum support rollers, 2 support shafts, 4 screws, 2 spacers, 2 washers, 2 retaining rings and instruction sheet.
Decided to order the kit with both rollers even thou the right one looked OK.Also ordered the pulley for the idler. The first timer I received I installed and it was dead. No power would go thru it. I called the customer service number and they were great.They sent me out another timer right away. I goggled and found out it might be the 2 cylinder that control the power going to gas. I called Appliance Parts Pros.com to confirm. Lady on the phone told me to check this and check that. When I pulled out the dryer from the wall, I could see dust/lint had accumulated everywhere and the vent system was compromised. I vacuumed up the dust/lint accumulation outside and then inside the vent system. I then opened the lower cabinet to clean and check its condition. I removed the water steamer bottle and its sub-assembly and then the drum.
