Made for most Admiral, Crosley, Norge, and Magic Chef dryers. Kit includes 2 drum support rollers, 2 support shafts, 4 screws, 2 spacers, 2 washers, 2 retaining rings and instruction sheet.
Decided to order the kit with both rollers even thou the right one looked OK.Also ordered the pulley for the idler. The first timer I received I installed and it was dead. No power would go thru it. I called the customer service number and they were great.They sent me out another timer right away. I was really impressed. I received the second timer installed it in no time and the dryer is running as good as new. Read more
I goggled and found out it might be the 2 cylinder that control the power going to gas. I called Appliance Parts Pros.com to confirm. Lady on the phone told me to check this and check that. When I pulled out the dryer from the wall, I could see dust/lint had accumulated everywhere and the vent system was compromised. I vacuumed up the dust/lint accumulation outside and then inside the vent system. I then opened the lower cabinet to clean and check its condition. I removed the water steamer bottle and its sub-assembly and then the drum. This is the door switch only. For the door switch including the mounting clip order LA-1005.
I first unplugged the dryer, lifted the top of the dryer, then removed two screws that hold the front panel to the side panels. I removed the cable clip that holds the wires for the switch to the front panel, and removed the wires from the switch. I then removed the switch from the clip that holds the switch in place.
