A month ago I replaced the heating element in a Samsung Dryer, everything was working great, then it stopped heating again. I disassembled the dryer again thinking g the heating element had quit working again. After takining it apart again I found the element be still intact and okay. On the side of the elheating element housing are two other parts (1) the thermostat and (2) fuse assembly. I noticed the fuse assembly had a melted spot on it. I had to replace the thermal fuse (2ND time in a year because my wife won't clean the lint trap!) The total repair take less that a minute....but you have to take the entire dryer apart to get to the fuse. Nothe that difficult and a lot of online tools and videos to help you do it. Read more
