Staff very helpful ,,,,,,, while I did find a broken heater. Cleaning the dryer with compressed air fixed the issue. Moisture Sensor Dryer Thermistor do not like a covering of Dust no electrical likes a layer of dust when its trying to sense. This condition was hard to find anything on internet which is why I'm commenting. Slow count down was due to Dual Dryer Elements and one was broken. Replaced glass from samsung dryer, product came in 5 days using regular shipping. Product came secure and intact. Helpful video on web for installation. Used Philip bit and drill with adjustable speed and hammer setting. Read more
Due to manufacturer changes, the idler assembly is no longer included. If needed use part number DC93-00634A. For the motor bracket only use part number DC61-01213A.
At first I thought it was the dryer belt. The drum would spin freely with no resistance. I went to Youtube to find a instructional video on how to change the belt. After a few short steps on had access to the dryer belt. To my dismay it wasn't the belt at all. I realized after doing a quick inspection that the idler wheel used to put tension on the belt had broken and was causing the issues.
