I replaced the heating element supplied by AppliancePartsPros.com. It took me longer than the estimated 30 minutes to an hour cited in the good instructional video. A few things took more time than I had expected: 1. Removing the top of the dryer unit resulted in my breaking off the three plastic tabs that is used to anchor the top to the structure below. In putting it back together, I didn't need those three tabs as the side plastic structure on each side will secure the top to the... Read more

A few months back I changed out the "Bearing Slides" on the front side of the drum thinking that would stop the annoying squeaking every time we use the dryer. They were very worn and one was missing. But to my dismay it only lessened it by about 10%. After doing a bit more research I discovered the "Rear Shaft Bracket Assembly" also needed replacement. The tip was worn way down and clearly the source of the noise. It was actually a very simple repair except for the fact that the key to the... Read more

I first received the quality parts in less than 2 days. It took me 5 minutes to change out the timer and 2 of the minutes were finding where my fiancée put the Phillips head screwdriver. Unplug dryer first, remove top three screws from back panel. Pull old timer up and out, have new timer in hand and transfer one wire at a time. Once all wires are transferred, snap the new timer in its place. Replace your three screws, put knob on timer. Plug in dryer and test. Once completed, cleanup your... Read more
