The Idler Pulley is an OEM part for Frigidaire dryers. It helps guide and maintain tension on the dryer drum belt, ensuring the drum rotates smoothly during the drying cycle.
Over time, the idler pulley can wear out due to friction and regular use, or it may become damaged from excessive strain or misalignment. If the idler pulley fails, the dryer drum may not rotate properly, leading to inefficient drying or a complete inability to dry clothes.
Symptoms of a bad Idler Pulley include:
This OEM replacement is also compatible with Electrolux, Gibson, Kelvinator, and Kenmore models.
I replaced the spin bearing, tub seal, washer and drive belt since I had it all apart. The video was extremely helpful...I would have tore the whole thing apart trying to figure out how the agitator came off....but it was very simple. Read more
The Agitator Hub is an OEM part for Frigidaire washing machines. It connects the agitator to the drive shaft, enabling the agitator to rotate and move clothes effectively during the wash cycle.
Causes of a bad agitator hub can include wear and tear from frequent use, exposure to harsh detergents or hard water, or damage from overloading the washer.
Symptoms of a bad agitator hub include:
This OEM Frigidaire part is also compatible with Electrolux, Gibson, Kelvinator and some Kenmore models.
The agitator stopped functioning and there was a squeaking sound occurring in agitation mode. I found that if I cranked down on the agitator cap, screwing in as hard as I could, the agitator would work briefly, then the cap would loosen and agitator stop moving. I removed the agitator cap, along with which came the agitator stud cap and a rubber washer/seal which was jammed up into the underside of the cap. I lifted out the agitator from the drum and inspected it and the hub best I could.... Read more
This agitator is a genuine Frigidaire part, sold individually. This agitator can be used as a replacement part for a washing machine or a washer/dryer combination appliance. This part rotates within the tub of the washing machine so that clothes and other items are tumbled around and fully cleaned. If an agitator has been subject to damage at some point in the standard lifespan of a washing machine, symptoms of damage will manifest in the form of a washing machine that will not agitate in a normal laundry cycle. If this is occurring, the agitator should be inspected for visible signs of damage, including punctures, scrapes, tears, and erosion to the material that could preclude it from serving its function. If the agitator seems damaged upon assessment, it should be removed and replaced with this genuine OEM replacement part before using the washing machine again. This is an OEM part sourced directly from the manufacturer. It is sold individually. This agitator is compatible with the following appliance brands: Frigidaire, Kenmore, Gibson, and Kelvinator.
I own several apartments with same washer/dryer combo. A couple months ago, one of my washers stopped agitating. I hired an Appliance Repair Company. They charged my $95 for agitator, $65 for hub and $120 for service call, plus tax for a total of $310. Oh, and it took them FOUR WEEKS to get the part in and fix my washer!. Something to do with "Frigidaire shipping issues". Last week I had another unit break with same problem. Ordered parts from AppliancePartsPros.com for $80, parts arrived... Read more
The trunnion is the hub that mounts the washer's inner tub to the drive shaft. Replacing a worn hub restores a solid, centered connection so the basket spins smoothly without wobble, slip, or grinding. What it does:
The seal at the bottom of the tub had started to fail. On large loads water would leak so I ordered a new one rubber seal. Getting the trunnion off the transmission shaft was hard as it was calcified and corroded. I used a wire brush to get some of it off and then used a lot of WD-40. The bolt holding the trunnion plate on sheared off when I tried to remove it on one side and the other came out ok (the bolt hole through the trunnion is not threaded so it should slide out once the plate is off... Replaced the dryer heater, and for good measure the limit and thermostat switches. My whole experience with Appliance Parts Pros was exceptional. I had a few questions to which the pros went out of there way to get the answers I needed. They also sent me the service manual which had step by step illustrations on how to disassemble the dryer. Saved a lot of time. Read more

Also couldn't find a removal video for one of these but using a video for a frigidaire stand alone washer ouput me in the ball park and figured it out from there. Appliance parts pros had the best process too! Read more

First attempt was to replace the door latch mechanism...didn't fix it. Kept researching and the washer control knob had been hard to turn so it seemed logical that was the problem. Also, at some point the end cap had broken. As it has the main grounding point inside it and as I was taking the control panel apart anyway it made sense to replace it. Read more
