Their are 4 screws that hold the housing to the door. with the housing out, I could see where the pivot rod for the ice door should have been, I then ordered a new housing and ice door seal. Taping up the hole in the freezer while waiting for parts. when the new housing arrived I transferred switches and the light from the old to new. I typed the problem into the internet and the Appliance parts pros came up, after entering the model number and make of the refridgerator with the assistance of on line chat the problem was diagnosed. The part suggested was a new control panel and wiring harness. The order was recieved in less than 2 days from when I ordered it.
