A failed stove top burner valve Robert S. • Ventura , CA • December 08, 2015
After turning off the gas and unplugging the electricity, I removed all the burners from the stove top using a 3/16" hex socket. Then used a 1/4" socket to removed two or three screws under each burner which hold the burner base to the bottom of the top panel. Then pulled all the knobs and removed the front panel which was held in by two Phillips screws accessible from underneath the panel. It helps to open the oven door to get at these screws. With the knob panel gone, I removed two screws...

The oven grates are installed on top of the burner elements to hold various types of cookware and protect the burners from damage. Sometimes the grates on top of an oven's burners can become damaged or corroded, and repairing or cleaning won't be enough to fix them. Working grates should always be installed on top of the burners to protect pots and pans from direct heat. These grates also keep the burners from getting damaged. Make sure the old grates aren't hot before you remove them. Wear gloves if possible. Lift up on the old grates to remove them from the burners. Discard them and place the new ones in their old place. Make sure they are locked in place securely and don't sit unevenly. This Frigidaire grate kit is sourced directly from Frigidaire as a genuine OEM replacement part. The component is sold individually. This part is compatible with Frigidaire brand appliances.

Needed to replace bottom panel in Fridgedaire electric oven Sharon T. • Monroe Township , NJ • July 31, 2018
Went on site, read the reviews to see how difficult it would be or if any problems. Then ordered it And received it the next day!!!
The 2 screws were a bit hard to remove. Found the right screwdriver by using the 2 new screws I ordered.
Once I got them out, lifted the old panel out. Pushed down on one corner so could get a grip on opposite corner to lift out.
Once out, put in new one. Put in new screws and good to go!
Will certainly NOT line with foil ever again!!!
